With the vaccine comes the unmasked and aggravated.

As I was in the shower after a 12hr shift of slaving away for the unmasked, I couldn't help but reflect on the last four years. For many it seemed like it never happened, and for a few like it would never end and for me it was only an everyday occurrence of America being right on schedule. I don't need to digress because those who are alive now, lived through it.

In the summer of the year two thousand and twenty, all across the nation and the world, people join forces to walk across bridges and avenues, to state a claim in their fight for humanity and freedom, in the fight against police brutality and for Police Reform. On May 25th, 2020, the world watched as a YT man knelt on a Black man's neck for nine minutes and twenty nine seconds for a counterfeit twenty dollars bill. THE WHOLE WIDE WORLD WATCHED, as a YT Police officer put all his weight, on the neck of a Black civilian, for an alleged fake $20 bill, for 9 minutes and 29 seconds, as he complied and begged for his dead mother. Let that sink into your membranes for 9 minutes and 29 seconds. Big shout out to the teenager who saw something that the other 3 police officers and grown ass men were immune to, and filmed it for the whole wide world to see. I wished I could say I was shocked and saddened that in 2020 it came to this, but I wasn't. I don't even know where this country gets the nerve to be so disrespectful to fellow human beings, Black people. Is it that they think Black people are not apart of the human race and if so, are our ancestors equally parallel to this rite of passage? When did Black people stop being humans?  When DID black people stop being considered a part of the human race?

I have to tell you, this country is always fighting for something, whether to enslave or not to enslave. Whether it be immigration. Whether it was ok to keep kids in cages because they weren't white (Immigrant kids at the border). Whether it be the contamination of mixing the races deemed illegal (Loving vs.Virginia). Whether it be the right to chose for your own body (Roe vs. Wade or pretty much anything besides being white in Texas). Whether it be the gay communities and their legal rights to marriage (Prop 8). Whether it be the way you perceive yourself or the body you chose to relate to (Black Trans Lives Matters). Whether it be civil rights (Auntie Rosa was just tired to go all the way to the back and why should she?). Whatever it is, something is always "illegal" in this country and for what? Better yet, for Whom? Does this country even have an identity if it is not declaring something at some point illegal? When will this end? How is it going to end? I have to take solace in the ones who have made and are still making a difference. The Marchers,The Protestors, The organizers, The Activists, The Allies, The ones who won't just sit back and look. The Supporters and The Champions, whom have decided that enough is enough and will remain true to the purpose at hand. But, there are still millions of people who are indifferent and they choose to shut their mouths as they watch this nation bury itself, hiding behind the walls of their political parties. I am all for differences in opinions but if we don't speak about issues with one another, how will we know what issues to argue on? Come on "If you see something, say something"

What happen to the Government? Let me tell you, it is not a coincident that this partisanship happens to occur on the resurrection of the Immigration Reform or any social reforms for that matter. Or the fact that the biggest loser of all times was the president for four years and is right on track to repeat that in 2024 (trust me, with the lack of the nothingness that is happening with this administration, it is going to be really hard to motivate Black people to come out and vote to "save this country" again). But, is it just the tea partiers that decided that this should not be so. Or is it a joint effort from all spectrum of the political playing field that delegate such catastrophes in unison? I am a little wary of the "things" being done. If congress needed a break from all this they should just sign off on all the appropriate human rights laws at hand giving them ample amounts of time for rest and relaxation.

For a country that was founded upon immigration, we are doing nothing of the sorts to make this right with the Indigenous People (natives) that once lived here or the great kinds of people migrating here. And for future references, I am not the biggest fan of that word native. I find that word belittling and inhumane. Because I've found that every time that word is being used, it is only to describe people from third world countries or of the Global majority (minority). You never heard the term "Natives" of Europe or North America except in reference to the Indigenous People (native americans). Shaking My Damn Head! However, I will not stray from the topic at hand, even as I struggle to formulate my words into unbiased gibberish, while still maintaining the core of the reason I choose to write this. I have not lived in all the countries in all the lands, actually only two, but I am sure they do not place this much energy on Racial profiling and Immigration. For this country to be one of the top model countries in the world it is sure not leading by example or maybe it is? The irony of it all is THIS COUNTRY WAS FOUNDED UPON IMMIGRATION and built on the backs of the enslaved. It may be hundreds of years ago but minorities and in particularly Black Minorities are still being enslaved. Please wake me up with the exact date and time this place was great!

                                                Where were you when they killed Martin?

I believe that the lashing out on Black Citizens and the Global majorities (minorities), is for the sole reason that the YT people of this country have all these resources, but are too ignorant and prejudice, to let others come in and get a little.  While are also too lazy to work and build this place up on their own. I have to tell you, mi thinks that if Immigration were only narrowed down to Europeans and the lighter skin tones, then there would not be an issue with Immigration to begin with. We definitely saw that with Syria and Afghanistan vs. The Haitians and Mexicans.  We see how it is much easier for a country that is not considered of a minority race (global majority or Natives) or lighter in hue, can come here and get a Greencard as quickly as it takes them to land, but God forbid if you try to just walk over to borrow some sugar from your neighbor?  God forbid if you are Black and were born here begging for equality? You are considered criminals who have nothing better to do but to rob, rape and kill. I mean your former president and soon to be dictator, said it so it must be true. I got to say I can't remember the last time I heard about a Mexican uprising in this country or a Haitian terrorist. But you can be sure about bombings and what nots from people with "legitimate visas" and "asylums."  I was watching Patriot Day the other day, did anyone else happen to catch it? That left the news cycle real quickly.
                    

                                            Where were you when Obama got elected?

I can sit here and tell you why a Comprehensive Police and Immigration Reform bill would be great for this country but honestly that would be a waste of my time and yours, cause you already know. Every living soul alive today in America, except for Indigenous people, are all living testament as to why Immigration works for America. We all live it everyday and we all came from somewhere not from around here. We are on the forefront of this great invention looking on. Is the pot of coffee on? Because I can't smell it.

I want to talk to you on your level, fighting fire with fire, so to speak. Maybe then you will understand and get involved with the more obvious side of a law that was once so simple, yet has gotten so complicated.
Every law in this country is about some bulshit control to protect things that we are no longer sure about. We are only hearing the opinions of one set group, The 1%, while the rest of America won't even speak up to make it better. The ones who can do something about it won't. Everybody is just so absorbed in their own petty issues to see the bigger picture.

But I got to say though, that while this country is busy being petty, the other "second world" countries are busy becoming first world countries. Ireland is in the top twenty economies of the world y'all. And I can't even begin to tell you how rich Germany is, I can't tell you because they won't let anyone know. Sometimes when life hands you  a curve ball, question it.  And when you have exhausted the alternative, you WILL hit a  home run.

Where were you when they murdered GEORGE FLOYD?

Imagine this and indulge me for a second. It's Tuesday, November 5th, 2024. 6:30am to 9pm. The polls are all opened but there are no lines, nobody's waiting in them to vote. Nobody's showing up, nobody's caring. We have more pressing issues to tend to in our homes, schools, offices, lives or whatever, scratching balls and pooping. Too busy to even think about voting. This happens everyday in the political administration. Lord knows the president is only farting and napping these days. Politicians are too busy doing everything else other than the things that they swore they were gonna do, should they be elected.I am talking to you Mrs Vice President! She needs a tutor because she is not understanding the assignment. Or what she was elected here to do. What is going happen when the tables turn? I hope I live to see the day.
